WebEQ XP is a realtime graphic equalizer for your computer - it helps you optimize your PC sound system so that your streaming or wave audio will sound better than ever. Graphic Equalizers are used by professional sound engineers and music-lovers alike to get exactly the sound quality they want, whether in the recording studio or on a home stereo system. With an equalizer, you can set the precise level of sound volume you want in each frequency range. If you want a strong, punchy bass line, move the bass slider and the bass volume goes up. If you want to make sure you catch all of the high frequencies, move the high frequency slider up. You can tailor the sound levels to account for the acoustics of the room your stereo happens to be in. With WebEQ, you can add equalization to Web audio broadcasts and to every wave sound you play on your PC. WebEQ works with and without RealAudio and other realtime Web streaming technologies, and it works without you having to do any more than start the program and set the desired levels. It is transparent to other programs - they don't know it's there, but your ears definitely will!
